We're looking for an invoicing technician to join our team of passionate accountants. Reporting to the team leader, project accounting, you will have the opportunity to support the project accountants in carrying out all project accounting activities, participate in the invoicing process and produce schedules on request.We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in Quebec.Primary responsibilities
- Open projects and service offers using the appropriate software (Microsoft Dynamics GP, kwiktag, etc.)
- Updating budgets and project phase openings - distributing and adjusting transactions in the system
- Ensure that the invoicing process is followed, from the preparation of invoices to their dispatch.
- Validating and completing the forms required by our various clients (MTQ, HQ and others)
- Taking profit and loss with confirmation from the project accountant, completing the various progress reports,
- Closing and archiving projects and doing the filing
- Validating payment of invoices and releasing payments to subcontractors
- Managing the shared email inbox.
- Profile
- Experience in billing or in the consulting engineering sector (an asset)
- Fluency in spoken and written French and an intermediate level of spoken and written English in order to communicate effectively with our various national stakeholders
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (an asset)
