Role: Content Marketing ExecutiveReports to: Clinical Content SpecialistLocation: LondonDirect Reports: 0Working in partnership with the NHS, we are already the UK’s largest digital mental health platform for young people aged 10-25. We use the collective insight from nearly one million hours of professional support we have provided to guide people to self-help, community-support, and professional help that matches their wants, needs, and goals in life. Now, we are rapidly expanding into supporting the NHS adult population and corporate sector - providing corporate solutions to help build mentally healthy businesses, and expanding internationally.Role Purpose:Plan, research and create content for a range of audiences, from stakeholders to our growing community of service users ensuring your work effectively communicates our unique brand and supports people who need help.Key Responsibilities:Clinical content creation
  • Commission and/or create high quality therapeutic written/audio/video content for children, young people and adults in line with editorial calendar, ensuring that they give a voice to people with lived experience and/or experts
  • Support with collaborative participation projects, working with people with lived experience to create therapeutic and helpful content
  • Ensure content meets our commitments to specific cohort contracts, is responsive to commissioner/commercial requirements and reflects service user data
  • Help package content for b2b clients, ensuring content is delivered on time and to an agreed calendar
  • Commission content to a trusted pool of freelancers, proofing, editing and feeding back where appropriate
  • Proof and edit all content to ensure it is safe and adheres to age and community guidelines
  • Support regular audits of content to ensure quality, relevance and safety
Editorial planning
  • Support the Clinical Content Specialist in creating an editorial content calendar that takes into account service user needs, wider marketing campaigns, awareness days and commissioner feedback
  • Encourage a culture of evidence based practice. Use available data to assess what content would support service users and how existing content is being received and engaged with in order to plan ahead
Content creation/marketing
  • Release the potential of our wealth of clinical content by working closely with the wider marketing team and ensuring content published to the platform is reworked and utilised elsewhere, eg social channels, engagement activity, shared with b2b clients, website, commissioner emailers, etc
  • Focusing on commercial campaigns, demonstrate ability to create a range of compelling content, from blogs, articles and case studies to infographics, podcasts, videos and reports, ensuring that each piece carries clear brand messaging
  • Where appropriate, work with the design team to create visuals appropriate to each audience and in line with our brand
  • Advise on the best channels to share content, evaluating impact and adapting your approach to maximise results
  • Ensure output is accurate, high quality, clinically safe and on brand
Project management
  • Work with the commercial team to scope campaigns, agreeing on messaging, content components, channels, metrics and delivery, sharing progress as appropriate
  • Support the content team on thought leadership projects, researching and generating content to effectively communicate our brand and what we stand for
Editing
  • Proof and edit clinical content as well as output from wider Kooth teams when required, reviewing for accuracy and flow, as well as brand messaging and clinical safety

Qualifications:
  • Degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years work experience
  • Previous roles and experience in mental health/wellbeing desirable
