Based in Shrivenham, just outside of Swindon, Brunel Surveys Ltd is a well-established and growing company. Operating nationally, producing high-quality topographical, measured building and underground utilities surveys for clients who include many major companies and authorities.Brunel Surveys has always aimed to provide a high quality of service and continually invest in new technology. Whether it is the latest GPS kit, laser scanners, large-array GPR, drones or the latest software, they constantly strive to improve the quality of products and service and spend as much energy developing the team to be able to maintain these high standards and grow with the business.Brunel Surveys are now looking to recruit an experienced BIM/REVIT modeller to join their technical team to carry out the production of REVIT models - from survey data - to client specifications. Training will be provided to adapt existing REVIT skills to suit our workflows and expectations in the ‘As-Built’ aspect of modelling.   • Provide 2D/3D/REVIT modelling resource.
  • Support the implementation of BIM on live projects, utilising Autodesk and Bentley systems applications.
  • Provide feedback and report on BIM best practise, demonstrating opportunities for improvement.
  • Meeting and working with surveyors to review models.
  • Reviewing and delivering the final product
  • Completing job reports
Requirements
  • Engineering/Technical qualification; HND/Degree. A Level or equivalent maths or applied science qualification as a minimum
  • Experience of working in a similar position within a survey environment would be useful but not essential.
  • Working knowledge of the requirements of BIM ISO and BS relevant standards
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD in recognised industry applications (Bentley, Autodesk, Synchro etc)
  • Able to work autonomously and work to deadlines.
  • Customer focus, understanding their requirements and developing great solutions to meet their needs.
  • Problem solving abilities.
