Every day at work, our inspectors, auditors, and lab techs use their expertise to help safeguard the products you use every day in your home: from clothes and footwear to toys and baby products, to electronics, appliances, and furniture.The primary responsibility of this role is to meticulously review and analyze SFDA (Saudi Food and Drug Authority) regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.Additionally, the Technical Engineer will serve as a knowledgeable technical advisor, offering guidance and expertise to internal teams and clients on matters related to SFDA regulations and certification processes.Key Responsibilities: * Review SFDA regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure comprehensive understanding and compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of technical documentation, including product specifications and manufacturing processes, to verify alignment with SFDA requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including certification specialists and regulatory experts, to provide technical support and guidance throughout the certification process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on SFDA regulations, offering insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and consultations to address technical queries, provide clarification on regulatory requirements, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated on changes and developments in SFDA regulations, communicating updates internally and assisting in the adaptation of processes and procedures accordingly.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of internal tools, resources, and training materials related to SFDA compliance and certification processes.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and industry organizations, to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in SFDA compliance.
In order to succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Care, Epidemiology, Preventive Health, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Health Promotion, Health Security, Virology, Preventive Medicine, Public Health, and Microbiology.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Cosmetics/Certification field.
  • Extensive knowledge of SFDA regulations and requirements, with prior experience in regulatory compliance or certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex technical documentation and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for document review, data analysis, and project management.
