We are working exclusively with a growing real estate investment, development and management company based in the heart of the West End. With a fantastic track record of delivering assets spanning across a variety of sectors including the living, logistics, renewables and many more. Reporting directly in to the Finance Director, we are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their team.The position will be focussed on the preparation and analysis of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the company. In addition, you will also be involved in the preparation of tax returns and compliance. Due to the SME nature of the business, the role will be diverse and varied in nature compared to other Corporate / Financial Accountant positions.Key Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Preparation of the financial reporting and analysis, including budgets for various departments to drive profitability.
  • Providing regular performance monitoring for the company.
  • Supporting in the development of finance processes and systems to drive maximum efficiency.
  • Ensuring the company is compliant with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assisting with group consolidation and reporting.
  • Business partnering closely with the Investment Management team.
  • Liaising with external advisors including auditors and tax advisors.

They are able to offer a discretionary bonus which has been paid out consistently as well as hybrid working 2 days a week with their core days being Monday, Tuesday and ThursdayFor this position our client is looking for somebody with the following skills and experience:
  • Full qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • At least three years post qualification experience in a corporate / management accountant position.
  • Group consolidation exposure would be preferable.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Real estate exposure is essential for this position.
  • Ability to communicate well with non-finance stakeholders.
