- Perform infrastructure planning for pipeline connections and fiber deployments in new areas.
- Coordinate with developers and consultants for telecom facility inspections before obtaining the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP).
- Review developer submissions of COPIF plans to TFCC.
- Manage from pipeline connections to equipment commissioning and resolve site issues related to pipe and fiber.
- Liaise with relevant SingTel departments for planning and implementing fiber projects to meet customer requirements.
- Carry out fiber planning and network design tasks supporting provisioning activities for corporate data services and engineering circuits.
- Supervise contractors in executing pipeline works, ensuring all operations follow established procedures.
- Meet target completion dates for pipeline works to facilitate timely cable laying and service provisioning.
- Attend site meetings with public bodies and developers regarding underground plants, close pipeline schemes promptly, and update reports immediately upon completion.
- Resolve pipeline implementation issues through coordination with internal and external parties.
- Oversee technicians and contractors in executing fiber cable works, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and engineering instructions.
- Attend site meetings related to underground plant provisions.
- Close fiber cable schemes promptly and ensure timely report updates.
- Assist in evaluating new fiber cables and accessories, manage order systems for fiber products, and handle fiber implementation with building management.
- Take ownership of managing fiber splicing, termination, patching, and testing for provisioning fiber products.
- Provide updates and reports on work progress and operational issues.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates.
- Preferably with 1 year of experience and a Class 3 driving license.
- Proficient in project management.
- Experienced in contractor management.
- Skilled in stakeholder management.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Available to work non-office hours for network incident support and restoration.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure.
