- Project manage and deliver all of the PSE elements of ILS for major AW101 programmes to cost, schedule and quality
- Manage and deliver the PSE elements of aircraft modifications to cost, schedule and quality
- Co-ordinate inputs from Core Engineering, Flight Test, Performance Group and other internal stakeholders
- Represent PSE at the relevant platform Integrated Platform Team (IPT) meetings Support bid activity
- Support the development of in-service support solutions to meet customer and company requirements, building on cross platform knowledge/experience
- Manage and co-ordinate cross function continuous improvement plan for Export variants /customers
- Establish and manage cost reduction plans for our in-service support contracts
- Inform business of requirements/priorities for Export, including the company Direct Operating Cost (DOC) reduction initiatives for AW101
- Make and support recommendations for maintenance policy, product improvement, technical publications updates and training throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in Engineering Design Reviews and technical working groups.
- Educated to at least HNC level in a relevant subject, ideally an Engineering related topic. Alternatively, to have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
- In-depth knowledge of customers’ employment of the Company’s aircraft products and Customers’ support organisations and operations
- Thorough knowledge and proven experience in project management
- An understanding of Supportability engineering principles and its individual/combined effect on lifecycle cost and asset and aircraft availability
- Knowledge of ILS/IPS and applicable/relevant standards
- Understanding of commercial and contractual practices
- Competent in working within MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, the ability to make sound technical assessments/judgements based on knowledge and experience, self-motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team
- Highly self-motivated and able to work as a principle part of an integrated team.
- Knowledge of the Leonardo Helicopters Engineering organisation, quality processes, operating procedures, drawing systems and digital products
- Experience of technical publications, engineering and helicopter systems and experience of helicopter operations/support
- Previous Logistical Support Analysis (LSA) experience.
