The programmes aim is to deliver a modern, cost-effective and scalable shared business services to nine Departments of State (the Policy Cluster), in a flexible way that can meet changing Government requirements, and drive innovation to optimise efficiencies and enhance user experience. The Programme will also implement a new modern SaaS ERP platform, from which UKSBS can deliver these services, driving harmonisation and significant business change across the Departments. This is a large, complex multi-year programme.As EA to the UKSBS Transformation Director and the Chief Change Officer, you will be responsible for managing their complex and busy schedules, providing comprehensive business support and diary management. You will need to be proactive and comfortable foreseeing issues arising and work to resolve them quickly.This is a varied and challenging role which will require you to be able to build trusted relationships with colleagues, deliver at pace, communicate and collaborate effectively and have real attention to detail. The role will require responding to different types of challenges and tasks on a daily basis in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to react quickly and independently to requests, with the ability to recognise competing priorities and take the initiative to make decisions and respond as needed.To do this role well you will need:
- Considerable EA or PA experience
- Ability to identify, prioritise, plan and co-ordinate own workload and that of others, working independently without supervision and using own judgement to escalate where required
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- High competency of using Outlook, Word, SharePoint and strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
