- Key member of site leadership team.
- Management of the accounting function, along with the company accounting team.
- Preparation and reporting of financial information on a weekly and monthly basis (including monthly payroll).
- Manage the annual budgeting process and future strategic development of various group entities.
- Input into the year end audit process and liaise with the company auditors.
- Complete all regulatory reporting to statutory bodies.
- Monitoring gross margins/contributions with focus on optimising sales mix.
- Monitor working capital management, with particular focus on inventory, credit management, and cashflow.
- Generate the necessary financial information that will highlight profit potential and/or inefficiencies.
- Focus on cost control and lean principles with target of improving site efficiency
- Support the business in relation to general development or specific issues.
- Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures
- Coordinate the development of the systems to support business growth.
- Periodic attendance at other group sites.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
- Qualified Accountant.
- Post qualification experience in a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, along with the ability to review and submit monthly management accounts.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commercially focused with a strong disciplined professional approach.
- Compliance and controls orientated.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Previous people management experience and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent IT skills. .
- Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm (45 minute lunch break).
