Supporting the business with things like Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Legal and Technology, our Functions colleagues are skilled professionals whose role it is to ensure we continue to become an indispensable partner to brands everywhere.Job DetailsAbout KantarAs part of the Technology project, we, at Kantar, are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer - Automation with an in-depth understanding of the whole infrastructure management Automation ecosystem, to act as a domain expert and configuration engineer for the Tech Services Automation product area, working with operational teams to continually review the infrastructure estate management, ensuring its fit for purpose and performance.Requirements & ResponsibilitiesShown experience in IT infrastructure, with a consistent record in the deployment of automation and configurations for enterprise scale infrastructure and applications;A detailed Automation industry and ecosystem knowledge, including but not limited in scope to: public and private cloud, bare metal and colocation hosting scenarios;Ensure the infrastructure services meet defined compliance and security standards;Experience interacting and working alongside consumers, Product Leadership Partners/3rd Parties and operational teams on a regular basis as is vital for the performance of duties.A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.Technical skillsStrong programming skills in Python and/or Go;Good experience with shell commands and scripting;Good understanding of Cloud / on-prem infrastructure and container ecosystem;Experience with Cloud hosting architecture patterns and distributed computing concepts;Experience with orchestration and configuration management tools (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform);Experience with CI/CD pipelines tools (i.e. Azure Devops, Gitlab, Jenkins);Knowledge of the Agile framework methodology and experience will be highly appreciated.Why join Kantar?We shape the brands of tomorrow by better understanding people everywhere.
