SubagentLocation – BridgewaterRate – CompetitiveMy client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Bridgewater, who is currently looking for a subagent to oversee Civil Engineering works on site on a long term contract position. The selected candidate will ideally have a minimum HNC, plus SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS and be able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience working with main contractors on projects where R.C., piling, earthworks, Temporary Works etc. are prevalent.Responsibilities:Duties will include looking after a section of works, working with the Planner to update section of works and produce 2 week lookaheads, Documentation - RAMS completion/Review, Quality - ITP production and monitoring on site, Take Offs, RFI / TQ, build ability. The suitable candidate will be commercially aware with knowledge of NEC4, able to identify additional scope/ changes / record and communicate to commercial team.

Health, safety and environmental monitoring by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Involvement with site documentation & writing specific RAMS.
Co-ordination of sub-contractors.
Briefings with workforce.
Work with commercial team to produce financial forecasts and final cost & value reviews.
Managing teams of Engineers including: Graduate/Site/Section Engineers.
Reporting to and working closely with Site Agent and Project Manager.
