As a Site Facility Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll effectively manage the hygiene standards and housekeeping of a busy automotive production environment.Day-to-day, you'll cover a broad range of activities to include daily inspections of the production areas, reorganisation and sorting of equipment and tools in the storage/production areas, deep cleaning of the workshops. You'll be working with the key stakeholders of each area to ensure a plan is implemented to ensure continued tidiness.
- Provide supervision and direction to two facility operatives, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and consistently
- Collaborate with the facility engineering team to address technical repairs and maintenance issues, ensuring a cohesive approach to facility management.
- Manage on-site waste, including wood, cardboard, and waste metals, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to environmental regulations
- Manage direct report leave requests and training requirements
- Work alongside the team and get involved with the organisation and cleaning tasks.
- Competent computer skills
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a facilities, industrial or similar environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and management
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively
- Full UK driving licence
- Completed relevant managerial Health and Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, British Safety Council)
