As a Site Facility Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll effectively manage the hygiene standards and housekeeping of a busy automotive production environment.Day-to-day, you'll cover a broad range of activities to include daily inspections of the production areas, reorganisation and sorting of equipment and tools in the storage/production areas, deep cleaning of the workshops. You'll be working with the key stakeholders of each area to ensure a plan is implemented to ensure continued tidiness.
  • Provide supervision and direction to two facility operatives, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and consistently
  • Collaborate with the facility engineering team to address technical repairs and maintenance issues, ensuring a cohesive approach to facility management.
  • Manage on-site waste, including wood, cardboard, and waste metals, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to environmental regulations
  • Manage direct report leave requests and training requirements
  • Work alongside the team and get involved with the organisation and cleaning tasks.
This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall.Typical working hours will be 07:00am start for 8.5 hours Monday to Friday and 6 hours on Friday.Essential experience of the Site Facility Supervisor
  • Competent computer skills
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a facilities, industrial or similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and management
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively
Qualifications for the Site Facility Supervisor
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable qualifications
  • Completed relevant managerial Health and Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, British Safety Council)
