- Commutable to FalkirkRole Overview:The Site engineer will be responsible for shadowing the contracts team and becoming familiar with site activities and management systems. The trainee will actively participate in various site-related tasks, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry.Key Responsibilities:- Carry out pre-contract site surveys to gather necessary data and information.- Shadow the site induction and Toolbox Talk (TBT) processes.- Become conversant with and understand the scope of work to be carried out on the site.- Understand the overall site program and assist in creating fortnightly programs.- Become familiar with and understand cost recording procedures .- Maintain accurate measurement records of works completed on the site.- Follow the site quality plan and keep records as required to ensure adherence to quality standards.- Assist the Contracts Engineer with site testing of materials and other related tasks.Skills & Abilities:- Accurate record-keeping abilities- Strong written & verbal reporting skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications- Collaborative approach to communication with Clients, Supply Chain & ColleaguesExperience:
