The postholder will manage a diverse caseload where the plan is adoption in line with policy and procedure, with a child centered approach, being able to effectively and safely analyse risk in order to make the right decisions.Team/Specialism: AdoptionPay Rate: £35 per hour (assignment rate)Contract: Locum, minimum 3-MonthsHours: Full-time. 35 hours per week. Requirements of the Social Worker:
  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services
  • Have a strong social work career background within Adoption, as well as having comprehensive understanding of all adoption regulations, legislation, statutory guidance and processes
  • Have excellent assessment, report preparation and planning skills, completing in an efficient manner according to statutory timescales and you will be confident in direct working and be able to prepare Lifestory books for the child/young person
