Kamloops offers world-class tourism and recreation, excellent cultural, social and economic opportunities, as well as over 2,000 hours of sunshine annually.The Department of Engineering at Thompson Rivers University is a recent initiative to offer the BEng Software Engineering program.The department is seeking to hire highly qualified individual for One (01) Tenure-Track Position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor \ Associate Teaching Professor beginning August 01, 2024.Qualifications: * The successful candidate must possess a PhD in Software Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university, and candidate's teaching and research experience must be within the core areas of Software Engineering.
The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized university.
Candidate should demonstrate expertise to teach majority of the following courses in the areas of Software Engineering:
Realtime System Design
Cloud Computing Programming
Software Engineering Design
Software Engineering for Game Development
Safety Critical Systems
Computer Architecture
