It's there in every warm smile, helping hand and fond farewell.At the Qantas Premium Lounge London Heathrow, we have a unique opportunity for extraordinary professional to join our team in providing Five Star Hospitality service including premium a la carte and buffet dining.With a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional and unrivalled luxury guest service every time, we seek like-minded people who strive for excellence at every touch-point and will help us achieve a whole new level of outstanding guest satisfaction.Job DescriptionAs our Executive Chef you will be a hand-on leader: coaching and building skills, focusing on safety, quality and continuous improvement and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Kitchen operations.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships including with Qantas, Neil Perry Consulting, and suppliers.
  • Safety – champion the food safety plan, ensuring that the kitchen and operation is fully compliant at all time, be a leader with driving a safety culture for team members and passengers.
  • Financial – managing costs to meet budgets, rolling out initiatives to drive lounge key performance indicators.
  • Customer – ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction in accordance with targets set
  • People – ensure the kitchen brigade perform at the highest levels by ensuring Accor’s people process is followed. This includes coaching, training, performance reviews and engagement initiatives.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:
  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery with strong knowledge of food safety / HACCP.
  • Proven people management, kitchen management, and organisational skills
  • Understand that leadership is by example and from the front
  • Possess the adaptability to build strong working relationships
  • A passion for and great knowledge of food & beverage
  • Previous kitchen experience managing at a premium / five-star / fine dining level
  • Experience working in Airports would be advantageous, but not essential.
