As a Project Manager within the Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for owning and driving the project success of assigned MSO Healthcare initiatives. These can include System Implementations (EMR), Process Improvements, Procurement, Business Operations, Infrastructure and Enterprise Data. You will manage several projects in parallel and provide executive updates regularly to UMP Executive Team & PMO.You should be a detailed oriented person, with attention to deadlines and deliverables, ensuring follow-through for success. Metrics of success include ensuring timely project outcomes, staying within defined scope and budget, risk mitigation and stakeholder satisfaction. The project manager must be able to work independently with little supervision, bring structure to ambiguous, and forge collaborative relationships across the organization and external.Project Managers will follow the UMP PMO Methodology and utilize systems & templates that have been standardized for success & consistency.This role reports to the Director, Project Management Office.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)· Manage multiple projects of varying size following the UMP PMO Methodology.· Oversee the project management end-to-end lifecycle to accomplish approved timelines and goals.· Focus on Electronic Medical Record & Athena conversion projects.· Define Project Team roles and responsibilities, with Project Owner.· Responsible for creating and maintaining project artifacts: schedule, action & risk registries, lessons learned, budgets, stakeholder/RACI, status reports.· Facilitates status meetings with stakeholders and project team. Maintain standard PMO executive leadership reporting.· Collaborate with Project Owner and internal stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.· Build project schedule with clear scope: milestones, deliverables, due dates, assigned resources, dependencies.· Monitor, track & report the progress of assigned deliverables/tasks to ensure Project Team & external partners are accountable and on-time.· Identify any risks or roadblocks that could prevent task completion; partner with the appropriate stakeholders to document mitigation plan and actively monitor and report the progress.· Manages vendor relationships ensuring coordination of tasks and timelines.· Conducts lessons learned activity at project closure to support process improvement in collaboration with all UMP stakeholders.· Be able to analyze, understand business requirements, vendor statement of works and other form of requirement documents to clearly outline project artifacts.· Collaborates with other UMP departments to ensure coordination and completion of work or integration related tasks.· Promote collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the project team, to build a constructive work atmosphere.· Escalates issues when necessary.· Other duties as assigned.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant healthcare operations experience.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices
  • Information Technology industry experience is desired.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
SKILLS/ABILITIES·
  • Healthcare Experience: Electronic Medical Record & Athena conversion experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working across Microsoft Office 365 platform (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Teams) and with project management tools (example: monday.com & Visio).
  • Excellent organizational , leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail, with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, to drive results and achieve project objectives.
  • Ability to travel at times - up to 30%

Employee may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Employee must occasionally lift, push and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Some travel is required within Atlanta and including occasional out of town meetings/ seminars. Active driver's license and appropriate car insurance is required. Weekend and evening work is expected.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
