This is a role for someone who is a hunter and hungry for new business success. We are also looking for individuals to maintain relationships with our existing clients as we expand. The business segment will be assigned based on your experience and the network that you bring. What you will do: Core goals: Your role will focus on growing the revenue of the TSL Malaysia business unit by bringing in new business. Assist in ensuring the success of client campaigns Build rapport and maintain a good working relationship with clients to ensure repeat business Primary Duties: Plan and execute sales for TSL Malaysia. This includes finding new creative ways to generate leads, new strategies and attend launches and events that allow you to network and generate leads. Meet clients regularly and maintain positive relationships with regular clients, even on personal channels such as Whatsapp to increase the chance of repeat business. Work closely with the rest of the team so clients are seamlessly passed on. While colleagues take care of the execution, you have to ensure they are briefed properly so they are aligned and handle any crisis between the client and team. The sales team is expected to issue the IO to the client and hand the digital signed copy over to finance before counting it as a sale. You have to follow up on any delays of payment after the campaign is complete. Should the client default on payment (very rare), there will be no commission from that sales. Secondary Duties: Perform competently and independently in the absence of supervisors. To appear as a talent on articles and videos (optional). The successful candidate should have: At least 2 to 4 years of sales or business development experience with a proven track record Excellent understanding of new media, digital publishing, content and social media industry Strong negotiator with a commercial mindset. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to senior-level executives. Team spirit and ease in building strong professional relationships.
