- To provide technical expertise for timely completion of studies / investigations and effectively communicate findings to clients and other disciplines.
- Manage and deliver work scopes and/or overall studies within agreed cost, schedule and quality boundaries as agreed with client and ensure work is delivered according to Genesis procedures.
- To prepare / provide input to manhour estimates and proposals based on client requirements and set work scopes. To act as a proposal manager, coordinating disciplines and ensuring high quality documents to win projects.
- To support business development activities through client meetings / attending conferences / industry events and workgroup meetings.
- Mentor and assist development of junior members of Genesis Paris. Potentially become line manager of junior resources and future recruits.

- Prepare proposals outlining methodology, schedule, resourcing requirements and costs.
- Ensure study scope is executed in line with Genesis expectations for delivery, quality and innovation
- Perform multi-discipline field techno-economic development studies to provide technically robust and optimization of the Client commercial drivers.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise, both internally and during interactions with client
- Ensure the Client is always informed of study technical, commercial and schedule progress, and that deviations from plan are identified and discussed with the client in a timely manner.
- Proactively communicate with all stakeholders (both internal and external) by implementing a “no surprises” policy
- Actively identify future work opportunities through business development and networking.
- Develop client relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
- Relevant engineering degree qualification Considered relevant background : process engineering, project engineering, renewable asset development, other technical energy roles.
- Minimum 8-10 years experience; majority of which should be in the upstream oil and gas industry.

- Experience in feasibility and conceptual design stages of a project.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (written & oral) with French language skills preferred.
- Proactive communicator with strong personal awareness.
- Client focused with experience in facilitating client meetings and managing client relationships
- Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial relationships in the context of project delivery
- Understanding of Energy Transition markets and drivers (technical aspects, economics, regulatory, etc.)
