Primary Details Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe opportunityAs a Case Handler, you will effectively co-ordinate multinational insurance programmes through their full lifecycle (quote, bind, policy administration, cashflow management).You will work closely with our Producing Underwriting teams in the UK, Europe and Canada, and our Global Network offices around the world. The role is dynamic and fast-paced, providing daily variety, with excellent opportunities to share and extend your Multinational Insurance knowledge.We are seeking individuals who are looking for a chance to join a great team and progress their career in a supportive environment where anything is possible. If you are a team player with a desire to learn, then this is the role for you.Your new roleWork closely with other areas of the business, including Credit Control and Global Network ManagersCommunicate and share information with global underwriters Servicing Offices, brokers and other interested partiesPrepare, collate and communicate new and renewal programme information, handle mid-term changes to ensure delivery of key programme stages and co-ordinate/ manage local underwriting input and policy servicingProvide detailed information to Underwriters to advise on local servicing costs, taxes, tariffs, retentions, etc. to enable adequate pricingProduce and issue accurate instructions for Servicing OfficesHandle local payments and central collections and ensure the overall cash position is properly managedCheck local policy schedules and reinsurance cession slipsProduce accurate tax calculations using appropriate tools to include in premium allocationsUse of appropriate systems to service and co-ordinate programmes, including processing of UK premiums, ensuring data quality is maintainedWork with Client Managers to ensure they are kept up to date and any issues and queries are escalated/resolved in a timely mannerGenerate ideas for continuous improvement of the Multinational lifecycle process and support projects in this regard where opportunities ariseProvide subject matter expertise on all aspects of multinational administration to all stakeholder​sAbout youAbility to implement standards and regulations that govern the multinational insurance programmesAn in depth understanding of the regulatory and legal aspects of territorial insurance coversAn understanding of best practice methodologies and compliance processesKnowledge of policy wordings, credit terms, taxes to be paidA good understanding of credit control functionCollaboration along with excellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to adhere to Service Standards, regulatory and compliance requirementsAbility to produce detailed reports at various levelsAnalytical insight (ability to extrapolate from limited or complex data)Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, to be flexible, multi-task, organize and prioritize own workloadAbility to use MS Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamsWhy QBE?We understand that one size doesn’t fit all and that priorities can change depending on your life stage.
