Transport Supervisor/ADR CE Driver

• This is a permanent position in a friendly, family run business with over 40 years of successful trading.
• Pay is weekly.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.

• Three to four weeks of training is provided.
• Any future training (inc CPC & ADR) is paid for by the company.

• In your first three to four weeks on the job, you would be paired with our customers’ driver trainer learning how to safely deliver and collect various chemicals for the contract you would later be managing.
• Once trained yourself, you would carry out the work for a couple of months as a driver before moving into a supervisor, office-based role. You would only then drive to cover holidays / if someone left at short notice.
• All PPE for this training would be issued to you prior to starting.
• Your work will vary each week, but you will be based out of our Widnes depot.
• Set weekly salary whilst in the office, but any driving you would earn extra i.e. £20 p/h after 12 hours, plus nights out at £30 per night. Any weekend work would be payable at £25 p/h for all hours – but this is optional.
• The work for you/ your team of drivers will be allocated to you throughout the week via the customers transport team, so communication with them is essential – any delays, issues, or relevant info need to be passed on.

• Good organisational and planning skills.
• Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
• Have past Class 1 ADR tanker experience.
• Valid ADR in tanks license (all classes except 1 & 7)
• Valid CE license.
• Valid Digital tacho.
• Up to date CPC Card.
