Finance ManagerFull Time with Hybrid options
5 weeks annual leave and a monthly ADOAbout the roleReporting to the Director Financial Accounting, Revenue and Systems, this position is responsible for financial accounting, treasury functions, policy and governance within Grampians Health. As Finance Manager you will:
  • Provide leadership to a team of Finance professionals
  • Contribute to and implement process improvement initiatives across finance
  • Manage month-end and year-end processes
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial compliance and transactional functions and processes at Grampians Health
  • Management of the Financial Accounting function including Control of the month-end process
  • Responsible for the preparation and lodgement of all mandatory DoH finance reports including but not limited to the Heart, Long Service Return and annual return.
  • Responsible for the preparation of GH’s consolidated annual accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Accounting Standards, Financial Management Act and the Financial Management Compliance Framework
  • Treasury management including banking, cash flow reporting, balance sheet and cash flow budgeting and forecast.
Skills and experience
  • Has a clear track record of success in financial roles within large, complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated capability to initiate and effectively introduce change.
  • Solid accounting skills including the implementation of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proven staff development a strong culture building experience.
