Stock Planner / Goods In Team Leader - Mon – Friday – 8hr day shiftManchester – M44c£25k - £28k + Benefits + Full TrainingWe are excited to be working with an engineering products manufacturer & distributor in their search for an experienced Stock planner / Logistics coordinator.Role Summary:
  • Provide accurate usage & raw material and packaging stock holding information to department managers.
  • Arrange pick up and dispatch
  • Ensure all packing and label specs are compliant especially on project work
  • Maintain, control, monitor and report on finished goods stocks Maintain control, monitor packaging waste and skips
  • Arrange pick up of waste for re-sell
  • Maintain control monitor and report on area housekeeping.
  • Maintain control monitor and report on specialist packing for projects
  • Check material stock checks to ensure accurate figures are recordedControl cycle stock checks and deal with issues.
  • Assist and prepare for Monthly/Quarterly stock checks
  • Carry out internal auditing and report findings.
  • Help Ensure safety of any supplier / contractor organised to come on site.
  • Assist in processing orders and shipments according to the established schedule if required.
  • Assist Production Managers in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standards.
  • Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules with planner.
  • Coordinate with Production Manager to Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications.
Ideal candidate?
  • Experience gained in Goods in/stores logistics in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Motivation and Drive to succeed and able to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Experience stock check processes and procedures
  • Fully trained in Microsoft packages, word, excel, PPExperience with ERP system SAP would be preferable but other types would suffice
  • Experience of managing small teams of between 2-3 people
