We are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our staff while providing exceptional service to our partner schools.Position Overview: We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team at one of our partner primary schools in Warrington. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to take on a higher level of responsibility within a supportive and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate small group interventions to support pupil progress and attainment.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Support the implementation of individual education plans (EHCPs) for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Assess pupil learning and provide constructive feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Deliver planned lessons to classes when needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Level 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead small group interventions and support pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
