The role reports to the Supervisor Maintenance and is Flowery Branch, Georgia. As a Senior Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for safely maintaining equipment, processes, in ABB facility in Flowery Branch Georgia, ensuring All aspects of equipment and facility related maintenance tasks are completed on time. You will be expected to work and maintain all types of production and facility equipment.Your responsibilities
  • Safety tasks on all facility and production equipment as needed
  • Repair and maintain all types of mechanical equipment as needed
  • Repair and maintain all types of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
  • Maintain different types of testing and electrical equipment
  • Maintain, adjust and calibrate various Computer Numerical Control​ (CNC) machine tools
  • Maintain oven and hoist systems used in the facility
Your background
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Prefer 2 plus years of experience in industrial maintenance, working as technician with Electromechanical skills
  • A Technical certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of electrical test equipment such as digital VOM meters and Oscilloscope to maintain equipment as needed
  • Knowledge of electrical prints and how to trouble shoot electrical circuits
  • Computer skills: be familiar with Microsoft programs and software such as Excel and Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to read write and speak in English
  • Should be able read and understand all types of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints and drawings
  • Able to run electrical conduit, air and water lines as needed on projects
  • CNC maintenance experience is much desired
  • Knowledge of how to use a CMMS system in a world class maintenance organization. SAP knowledge a plus
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
