Salary: Between £35,000 - £55,000 Per Annum + Package(Salary range not yet - Negotiable based on level / relevant experience)Our client, a large Civil Engineering Contractor is currently looking for a Site Engineer (Or Senior Engineer) to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role you will work on a Design & Build projects within the Water sector, part of the AMP7 Framework, near Studley.You will be responsible for the accurate and safe delivery of civil engineering works, also interfacing with MEICA teams when required, to ensure all works are deliver collaboratively and to best practices. This including works on water treatment plants, therefore previous experience working within the Water sector is highly preferred.Daily duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Setting out, site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Performing technical analysis and calculations to support construction projects.
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Monitoring and managing construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and schedules.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to site staff and contractors.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to project activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSQE regulations on site.
Candidates will ideally:
  • Have a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, such as HNC, Degree or higher.
  • Have worked in a similar role before, delivering works within the Water sector / AMP Frameworks.
  • Have experience of delivering various heavy civil engineering works such as concrete structures, foundations, deep drainage, retaining walls etc.
  • Have experience interfacing with MEICA teams.
  • Have strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction techniques, including best practices.
  • Have a strong knowledge of HSQE legislation, always completing work in the correct manner.
  • Have experience liaising with subcontractors/3rd parties (Preferred but not essential).
  • Be an organised individual, with good communication and I.T skills.
