This is 21½ hrs per week and the rate of pay is $31.27 per hour (this is comprised of an basic hourly rate of $25.01 plus 25% casual loading $6.26).So the weekly pay for the above roster would be $672.31 and we get paid at Royal Far West fortnightly.Outline of Duties:We are a charity that provides allied health services to rural children, and these kids with their families are accommodated at Manly whilst we provide these medical services. It is this accommodation we need this vacancy to assist with cleaning. The main duties will be vacuuming, mopping, replacing bed sheets, cleaning bathrooms and washing dishes. This is undertaken in Manly.We also need assistance with cleaning of our communal office space, kitchen and bathrooms. This is undertaken in Manly but a different location to above.Immunisaiton:As our Cleaners will potentially come into contact with our clients, we are required that they are covered by specific immunisation. This immunisation includes:Diptheria, tetanus, whooping cough (dTpa vaccine)Measles, mumps and Rubella (MMR vaccine)Hepatitis B vaccineVaricella vaccine (or history of chicken pox/shingles)TB screeningDesired Skills and ExperienceYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE:
  • High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping work is an asset.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedules as they may vary, including weekends and holidays.
