Our roster has an opening with your name on itFanDuel is seeking an HR professional to join the People team and help shape the next phase of FanDuel's hyper growth! We are looking for candidates that are humble, collaborative, have a hunger and aptitude for fast learning, and a solid HR technical skill set and business acumen! The ideal candidate will have an objective and proactive approach to ensure that we are making balanced decisions to meet the needs of our business and our employees. In partnership with the HR Director, you will work closely with assigned department leaders and coach them through employee relations and performance matters, act as a thought partner on workforce and talent development strategies and support the implementation of HR practices, policies, and processes. You'll execute core HR processes while identifying process improvement opportunities, leverage our HRIS system for data-driven insights, and collaborate seamlessly with the other Centers of Excellence on the People team.THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to playIn this role you will play a key role driving and/or supporting people initiatives for assigned departments within the Technology organization to support their departmental goals.
- Partner with assigned people leaders and teams and serve as thought partner and advisor on all people matters by understanding their unique priorities and objectives and ensuring appropriate execution of HR/people initiatives.
- Collaborate with the People Team COEs to ensure quality support, addressing the needs of employees and leaders within client groups.
- Leverage key partners in Legal, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Finance to deliver solutions for the teams you support. This is typically done through developing strong relationships cross functionally.
- Coach and support the development of people leaders through employee life cycle process execution and by providing best practices and guidance in navigating difficult conversations, resolving employment issues and overall performance management principles.
- Execute headcount planning processes. Ensure accurate data and budget tracking of planned of roles. Partner with the business to define roles that meet the needs of our business and influence sound financial decision making
- Execute organizational development and reorganization initiatives that align with evolving business needs. Ensure processes are geared to having a compliant and fair employee experience.
- Support change management efforts. Collaborate with other People team members to effectively communicate and land broader organizational changes by advocating for your group's specific needs and facilitating company-wide communications and trainings.
- Ensure strong relationships and knowledge of the roles the employees within your client group perform. Proactively discuss talent development initiatives within your assigned client groups.
- Ensure appropriate process is followed in managing, employee relations cases; engage in actions to resolve, in partnership with key stakeholders (management, internal employment counsel, ER Director, etc.). Ensure issue escalation for visibility.
- Continuously build relevant business / team knowledge to effectively influence outcomes.
- Prepare and present relevant data analytics and dashboards to support business strategy.
- Support culture and DE&I initiatives and serve as an advocate for employees. Gather feedback & develop solutions to address based on concerns. promote a positive work environment, aligned to our FD Principles
- Deliver annual core HR processes for assigned client groups including YE performance management, goal setting, compensation planning, D&I initiatives, learning and development offerings, employee engagement survey, etc.
- Continuously demonstrate a process improvement mindset. Seek and raise HR process, policy and procedure improvements. Keep up to date with HR best practice and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Implement, monitor, enforce, and interpret Human Resources policies and procedures applicable to assigned clients. Deliver exceptional service to our internal customers, prioritize the important issues, and achieve delivery of high standards in a timely manner.
- Be a champion of FanDuel Culture and FanDuel Principles and encourage managers and employees to incorporate in their day to day.
- Other duties may be assigned to fulfill FanDuel Group objectives and/or job duties and requirements may be changed as needed to meet current and future business needs
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Human Resources related field; College degree in related business field, preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and think clearly under pressure
- Solid competency within the HR function: succession planning, org design, coaching, recognition programs, talent management, communications, compensation, and change management.
- Demonstrate strong judgement in problem solving
- Familiarity and experience with data and insights to influence decision making
