- Administrative Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of school policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including facilities management, scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in international education.
- Contribute to the planning and development of administrative procedures and systems
- Recruit, hire, and supervise administrative staff and support personnel, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff performance and job satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among staff members across departments and functions
- Prepare and manage the department budget in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, optimizing resources.
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with academic and student support teams to promote student success, well-being, and engagement.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for student and parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback, fostering strong relationships and effective communication channels.
- Coordinate student enrolment, admissions processes, and student services to meet the diverse needs of the school community.
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents, alumni, donors, and community partners to enhance the school's reputation and impact.
- Organize and participate in school events, meetings, and outreach activities to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration.
- Represent the school at local and international forums, conferences, and networking events to share best practices and build partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in school administration, preferably in an international school or educational setting.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward shared goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on building trust and fostering collaboration.
- Sound knowledge of educational principles, regulatory requirements, and industry trends in international education.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and technology tools for administrative management and reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of Laws and regulations regulating education in Ghana
- Awareness of Data Protection and confidentiality issues
- Awareness of and work within national legislation and school policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety
