  • Administrative Leadership:
  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of school policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including facilities management, scheduling, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in international education.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of administrative procedures and systems
2. Staff Management and Development:
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise administrative staff and support personnel, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff performance and job satisfaction.
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among staff members across departments and functions
3. Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage the department budget in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, optimizing resources.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Student and Family Support:
  • Collaborate with academic and student support teams to promote student success, well-being, and engagement.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for student and parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback, fostering strong relationships and effective communication channels.
  • Coordinate student enrolment, admissions processes, and student services to meet the diverse needs of the school community.
5. Community Engagement:
  • Cultivate positive relationships with parents, alumni, donors, and community partners to enhance the school's reputation and impact.

Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in school administration, preferably in an international school or educational setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward shared goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on building trust and fostering collaboration.
  • Sound knowledge of educational principles, regulatory requirements, and industry trends in international education.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and technology tools for administrative management and reporting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Laws and regulations regulating education in Ghana
  • Awareness of Data Protection and confidentiality issues
  • Awareness of and work within national legislation and school policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety
