- Collaborate on design projects in the critical facilities, life sciences, and healthcare practice areas, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and documentation
- Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)
- Assist in resolving complex technical and design issues
- Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination
- Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
- Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
- 3-6 years’ experience designing multiple building typologies of varying scale
- Experience in Critical Facilities projects (i.e. data centers, command and control centers, high-performance computing, etc.) healthcare projects, or similarly complex projects (i.e. science/labs/national labs, light-industrial/manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing, healthcare, aviation & transportation, etc.) preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture required
- Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
- Strong Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office experience desired. AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, Enscape, VRay also beneficial
