Early Years Family Support Worker

- You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of the Early Help Offer for families, adopting a whole family, strengths-based approach to reduce risk, increase resilience and improve outcomes for children.
- You will ensure that services are delivered in compliance with relevant legislation, local and national policy, and guidance.
- You will support and engage with individuals, parents, children, and young people with long histories of challenging and risky behaviours and who are difficult to engage or resistance of using or accepting services.
- You will support the Family Hub Coordinator in pursuing opportunities for service development.
- You need to hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, relevant to the work area including: Children’s Care Learning and Development/Certificate in Youth Work practice or Health and Social Care
- A full driving licence is required (unless unable to drive through disability).
- An understanding of the principles that support and promote the wellbeing of children, young people, and families.
- Experience of working directly with children, young people and families with complex needs and risk in a relevant setting.
- This is a part-time role of 18.5 hours per week
- 28 days of Holidays plus 8 Bank Holidays(Pro-rata).
