Seven Social Care is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to work with Neath Port Talbot Council.30 hours per week - 9am until 5pmWe require a BSc/MSc qualified EHRB Registered Environmental Health Officer experienced in dealing with planning applications consultation for noise, dust, odour and air quality. contaminated land is dealt with by different officers in the team.If you’re someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment, believes in the value of social work and can promote a ‘best practice first’ culture across the workforce, then this might be the role for you.To contribute to the development and the achievement of business plan and action plan targets.
To contribute to the development and review of work instructions and quality procedures for the team/service.
To assist the General Environmental Health Manager to secure the following:
  • Compliance with current standards of best practice
  • Achievement of business and action plan targets
  • Achievement of locally agreed and national performance indicator targets
  • Compliance with the departmental supervision and training protocols
  • Consistency, monitoring compliance with departmental procedures and work instructions.
