Job Description:Job title: Director - Life Sciences Sales Consulting, Asia PacificAbout the role:Oracle Life Sciences is looking for a Sales Consulting Director for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role provides Life Sciences Industry, business, and team leadership across the region. The role works very closely with the APAC sales team to support and grow Oracle's Life Sciences business in the region by providing domain, Oracle products & services solutions, and pre-sales skills, in an individual as well as in a team capacity.Roles and Responsibilities: * Provide regional team leadership including mentoring and guidance across Industry, business, and resource management elements of the team. Drive team performance and achieve close collaboration with sales across all APAC countries.
  • Ensure geographical and skills coverage for Oracle Life Sciences solutions and sales opportunities across APAC and ensure that sales opportunities and initiatives are adequately staffed with appropriate skill sets.
  • Closely work with sales leadership in APAC for regional business planning, execution, enablement, and customer success. Develop and execute APAC-wide or regional initiatives to improve business outcomes.
  • Direct hands-on execution for large/strategic deals and initiatives
  • Provide industry thought leadership in Life Sciences and Healthcare convergence areas and position Oracle's value proposition at industry, account, and opportunity levels.
  • Enablement and roll out of new products and services in the APAC region.
  • Provide inputs & feedback to product strategy team around APAC-specific market trends, product requirements as well as competitive analysis
  • Collaboration across a matrix organization within and outside of APAC, including other functional teams, LoB's, and the broader Oracle. Develop credibility and relationships across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration on deals, solutions, and architectures and enablement of the partner community
  • Team management and administration in resource planning, skills development, career planning, and administrative activities in compliance with Oracle policies and procedures.
  • Develop and enhance competitive intelligence to position Oracle solutions and services in the region.
Desired Skills
  • Life Sciences industry knowledge, preferably in Clinical R&D & Analytics
  • Understanding of industry trends in Healthcare and Life Sciences
  • Deep understanding of the sales cycle in complex industry solutions
  • Deep understanding of IT industry and technology trends
  • Ability to manage culturally diverse and virtual teams
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional with strong planning and analytical skills.
Qualifications (Preferred):
  • Minimum 15+ years experience in the IT /Software Solutions & Services Industry
  • Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry Knowledge.
  • Pre-sales & Solutioning experience
  • Team/people management experience.
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree.
