About the Job:
  • As a full-time Hybrid IT Support Specialist/ .Net Developer, you will have the chance to work directly with our internal and external customers on a variety of issues and projects and assist in creating the future of ProHome.
  • Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to emails, documenting issues, and processes, and completing tickets in a timely manner. This would also include completing assigned projects within the time bounds of the sprint.
  • The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, detail oriented, a good team player and an effective communicator.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills to support our proprietary software are a must along with:
  • The ability to set up/troubleshoot Windows OS clients, Office 365, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Support for Apple and Android devices.
This job will also include beta testing/documentation as well as providing real time support and training to internal and external users. Provide tier 1 support to in-house personnel using a ticketing system.***To be considered, you must reside in the Wichita, KS or Metro Wichita, KS area. We are not sponsoring work visa's at this time or seeking remote employees or those willing to relocate.***Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a basic C# and .NET developer.
  • 2+ years of coding experience & developing web applications using .NET, C# and JavaScript.
  • 2+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core.
  • 2+ years of experience with Entity Framework Core.
  • 2+ years of experience with MSSQL.
  • 2+ years of experience developing traditional and headless content management systems.
  • 3+ years of experience using SharePoint, OneDrive.
  • 3+ years of helpdesk support in an IT environment.
  • Proven record of software product development.
  • Experience with agile development, troubleshooting software for PCs, network, application security support and mobile device issues. Installing mobile devices and supporting Windows OS systems client support while identifying, using, and connecting hardware components and devices.
  • Passion for writing readable, low defect, unit tested code.
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Excellent basic knowledge about Information Technology.
  • A team player with great communication skills.
  • Experience identifying and protecting network connections and devices against security threats.
  • Demonstrated experience following best practices for communication, safety, and environmental factors.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete projects within the time bounds of the sprint.
  • Maintain existing software.
  • Ability to handle concurrent support issues and quickly prioritize them based on their criticality and communicate effectively with the affected users if a conflict arises.
  • Monitor outstanding help desk tickets to ensure issues are resolved and/or the originators have appropriate updates on the status.
  • Identify ongoing challenges that may not rise to the level of being an issue, but collectively represent an opportunity to add value to the system and communicate them with the development team.
  • Provide user level testing for the development teams.
  • Assemble any user documentation and/or training material for new software releases.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
  • Testing developed software and programs to ensure the best functionality & optimization.
  • Translate business requirements into technical development plans for execution.

  • The salary is $75,000 annually paid on bi-weekly payroll.
