Our legal team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Attorney to join our ranks.Job Summary:We are seeking a talented Finance Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to clients on complex financial transactions, regulatory matters, and litigation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of finance and law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a strong business acumen.Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and derivatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and providing tailored legal solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including accountants, bankers, and investment advisors, to provide comprehensive guidance to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to identify risks and develop creative solutions to legal issues.
  • Draft and negotiate complex legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and opinions.
  • Stay up to date on the latest developments in finance law and regulatory changes, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key players in the finance industry.
Requirements:
  • J.D. degree from a top-tier law school
  • 8+ years of experience practicing finance law in a leading law firm or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of finance and law, including securities laws, banking laws, and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts and instruments.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Passion for finance law and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in private equity or hedge funds.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and regulatory changes.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
