- Managing the Sales function for one of 3M's fastest growing businesses.
- Identification of new business opportunities for our range of Glass Bubbles and Nextel Ceramic Fibers
- Strong Key Account management and relationship development within existing account base in order to maximize future growth potential.
- Identification and monitoring of market trends, opportunities and risks within the target market sectors.
- Maintaining highest level of business compliance and quality standards.
- Knowledge of Glass Microspheres, Ceramic Fibres or similar technologies.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of at least two of our key target markets: Construction, Automotive, Aerospace, Energy.
- Strong background of specification-driven selling within a highly technical, materials science business.
- Significant experience within a similar high-tech, Business Development role.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of CRM systems. Salesforce.com desirable.
- Technical/Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar materials science qualification.
