Our mission is to work side by side with our customers in order to improve patients’ lives by bringing new biopharmaceuticals to market.As a member of the Global IT team, the Enterprise Application Operations Manager will play a critical role in delivering successful solutions by partnering with business and technology groups to manage the operations and technical solutions of implementation of various enterprise applications. Currently the focus is our new Global ERP-based Program for the Microsoft Platform D365 F&O. Moving from independent solutions at our sites around the world to a Global Solution that will be rolled out. This position contributes to AGC Biologics success by providing technical support that focuses on configuration and development of our ERP and related applications that is integrated with business processes/data and IT infrastructure. The role also involves building and developing application reports, integrate software, develop external integrations, maintain technical documentation, design and develop most aspects of data conversion and troubleshoot and resolving testing issues. This position involves working with multiple functional groups (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.), so managing multiple projects is essential, and strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. This position will be key in setting the Global standard for Good Operations Practice, which is a key element for successful operations of our ERP platform and other key platforms for AGC Biologics to grow on.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage overall prioritizations between production incidents/problems, release management, upgrades, and new application implementation;
  • Serve as a point of escalation for customer incidents; ensuring the appropriate resources are engaged for timely action and proper traction;
  • Ensure that the ERP system and all its components are in its best performance and running effectively for all process, technical, and support aspects of Microsoft Dynamics ERP, AX2012 and moving to D365
  • Collaborate with functional leads and work on all technical issues and change requests.
  • Make appropriate recommendation for ERP system improvements and innovations.
  • Technical lead for all ERP system implementation using best practices and adhere to the organization for JSOX and GMP policies and procedures, access management.
  • Manage 3rd Party vendor technical team on all technical related activities and managed services.
  • Conduct internal testing for any technical fixes or customizations as well as working with Business Analysts before conducting user acceptance testing. Ensuring that all related parties signed off before putting into production.
  • Monitor and support current integration services. Due diligence must be conducted during system design stage. This includes internal and external system integration.
  • Being a member of the ERP team, you are responsible to assist in the technical aspect should the support team require your input to ensure that the applications run smoothly.
  • Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional team on all technical related tasks in the ERP system.
  • Lead and triage incidents and service requests assigned to team queues
  • Track progress of assigned tickets with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines and SLA’s
  • Develop knowledge management database for employee self service of incidents, and knowledge transfer for offsite support team.
  • Track and report on metrics for tickets assigned to and handled by the Application Support team
  • Prepare and review the monthly preventive maintenance report and recommend strategy on improvement if necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Expert acumen in the technical side of Microsoft Dynamics Ax/D365FO as Technical Lead.
  • With more than 5 years experiences in building technical solutions for Microsoft Dynamics Ax/D365FO development.
  • With more than 5 years experiences in Microsoft Dynamics Ax business solutions’ troubleshooting and support
  • Preferably with 3 years experiences in operations in a Pharmaceutical regulated environment
  • Preferably with 3 years experiences with vendor management and operational change management
  • Knowledge of business-specific application system manufacturing, such as ERP, LIMS, MES etc.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
  • Knowledge and experiences on installation, configuration, administration, performance backup, monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and maintenance of the systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics Ax and integration.
  • Knowledge and experiences in Financial, and Logistics modules of Microsoft Dynamics Ax is a plus.
  • Possesses strong analytical, technical solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good experience in integrations and building data warehouse.
  • Familiarity of business process design and ability to propose process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to develop clear, thorough functional or technical requirement that drive effective solution development.
  • Familiarity of effective testing practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to define and execute appropriate test scenarios to validate system solutions.
  • Ability to effectively utilize available tools and resources (internal and external) to resolve issues.
  • Ability to lead project and work well independently within a fast paced, dynamic, deadline orientated environment by embracing all tasks with competency, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills enabling the persuasive presentation of proposed solutions and the delivery of effective end-user training.
  • Wiling to work in a fast moving and an out of office hour support environment.
