DescriptionThe Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer to work in our Reston, VA or Alexandria, VA office.Ability to work in Northern Virginia is preferred. Candidate working from remote locations will also be considered. This position is contingent upon contract award.Primary Responsibilities:Define and maintain MBSE projects in Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw ver. 2021Responsible for the development of MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulationsSupport a System of Systems digital engineering approach to iterate through architecture concepts and designCollaborating with multiple contractors and integrating Cameo model inputs into source modelsDeveloping baseline architecture model of existing systems and capturing configuration of networkFacilitate technical and programmatic information exchange in support of program objectivesParticipate in Working Groups and IPTs, informal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviewsDevelop technical roadmaps; establish and maintain reference architecturesDocument interfaces and standardsBasic Qualifications:BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree)Demonstrable knowledge in Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g. DOORS and Cameo)Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systemsDemonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experienceFamiliarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networks, Tactical Communications, Data Management, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR systems integrationDemonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)Clearance Required:Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearancePreferred Qualifications:Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiativesPrior experience with development descriptive models for network architecturePrior experience developing Cameo model validation scriptsPrior experience with SAFe Agile implementationPrior experience support Department of the Air Force programsPrevious experience working on complex multi-domain systemsExperience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolioOriginal Posting Date: 2024-04-24While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
