We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in scheduling, producing, and managing our social media presence across LinkedIn, X (twitter), and expand into Facebook, Instagram, and reddit platforms as we mature. Reporting directly to Head of Marketing, the person will meet with our social media agency, and collaborate with Marketers to regularly manage content creation and our social listening campaign to assess progress and identify trends and opportunities. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution to enhance our brand presence and drive engagement across digital channels. The Social Media Manager will oversee the management of our social media calendar that spans the two channels today (5 in future) and develops and implement social media strategies around announcements and occasions. The person also monitors external social media activity to identify new trends. This position is also responsible for managing and protecting our corporate reputation on social channels, by monitoring each for commentary and engagement. What youll bring : Social Media Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written). Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages promptly. In addition to these responsibilities, the Social Media Manager: Posts daily to social channels working in concert with the social team. Leads weekly social management calls with agency and staff. Meets weekly with the Brand team for planning. Meets with corporate marketing on an on-going basis to understand and plan for projects. Meets weekly with Speakers Bureau for awareness and planning around executive speaking roles. Meets regularly with corporate PR and Analyst Relations to understand and plan for upcoming projects and news. Content Creation: Generate engaging and high-quality content for digital platforms for social media updates, and visuals. Collaborate with the design team to create compelling visual assets that align with brand guidelines. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of social efforts. Provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations for future strategies. Qualifications: 5 years + of experience Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in social media management. Social media experience at a technology company is preferred, but not required. Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Proficiency in tools like Lumen, StreamYard, Breakout Clips, Reels (IG), and Hootsuite Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box. Experience working in an integrated marketing environment, a plus. A highly motivated, self-starting attitude that thrives under tight deadlines and plans/ideates/creates in between. Strong organizational skills.
