Johannesburg North, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South AfricaThis key role will require you to develop high-performance web applications.You must deliver innovative, user-centric solutions and utilise a sophisticated tech stack including Electron, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/UI, Node.js, and SQL Server.With 3-5 years of solid experience in React-based development, you should have a strong portfolio demonstrating complex platform builds and mastery in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You should also deeply understand React's core principles, such as hooks and component lifecycle, and be proficient in implementing responsive designs and optimising web performance.Your responsibilities will include designing scalable web applications focusing on user experience, writing maintainable code, creating reusable components, and collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers. You will also engage in rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the robustness of applications.We value professionals who are adept with Agile methodologies and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.What You'll Bring:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in React-based web development, showcased through a strong portfolio of complex platform builds.
  • Technical Mastery: Exceptional skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a deep understanding of Reacts core principles like hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.
  • Development Skills: Demonstrated capability in implementing responsive designs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and optimising web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Tools Proficiency: Proficient in version control systems, especially Git, coupled with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to high-quality code and user interfaces that meet or exceed design specifications.
