- Provide strategic technology guidance: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to understand organizational goals and identify technology solutions to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps: Create and implement a strategic technology plan aligned with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and optimization of technology infrastructure.
- Lead the technology team: Oversee and mentor our technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Provide guidance and feedback on technology projects to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Ensure security and compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, data protection protocols, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Support M&A activities: Provide technical due diligence and post-acquisition support for technology integration/resource planning as part of ongoing M&A activities.
- Stakeholder communication: Effectively communicate complex technology concepts to non-technical stakeholders, building relationships, and alignment across departments.
- Assess and mitigate risks: Conduct risk assessments, identify potential technology vulnerabilities, and develop contingency plans to prevent disruptions and minimize risks.
- 20+ years of proven software development experience with a deep level of knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle including SaaS, B2B & B2C, experience in a Microsoft Full-Stack framework with an Agile Scrum methodology, and an Azure & AWS cloud environment.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in senior technology leadership roles with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring technology teams fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Expertise in technology strategy and implementation: Comprehensive understanding of technology trends, infrastructure management, software development methodologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and compliance.
- Experience with one or more of the following: digital marketing/automation systems, social media marketing, CRM and lead management technology, machine learning, natural language processing, and/or big data/BI solutions that power outcomes (not just visualizations).
- Strong business acumen: Ability to align technology strategies with organizational goals, leveraging technology as an enabler for business growth and competitive advantages.
- Experience providing technical due diligence and post-acquisition support for technology integration/resource planning as part of ongoing M&A activities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate complex technology concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decisions, and building partnerships.
- Must be a problem solver, player-coach, and lead by example.
- Able to work onsite at our headquarters in Old Town Scottsdale.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, or related field from an accredited university
- Advanced technical education from a recognized program
