- US Publication Strategy: identify publication needs and prepare a data dissemination plan to guarantee timely communication of key scientific information. Ensure timely journal submissions, publications, congress presentations. Act with high degree of integrity, quality and transparency in line with PF values and follow Good Publication Practices and industry standards. Identifies and drives opportunities to enhance processes, tools, operating procedures and outsourcing strategy to ensure optimal delivery
- Medical Access: work on submission plan to ensure products are appropriately evaluated for potential inclusion in key guidelines and pathways (i.e. NCCN) Medical Education: lead planning and execution of a comprehensive education plan towards HCPs using a multichannel strategy
- Responsible for setting up Medical Information capabilities in the US market
- Work with Medical strategy colleagues in the development of scientific content internal facing (training material) and external facing (Field Medical material). Develop a strategy for the appropriate external use of the scientific content by the Medical team
- Act as a Medical Reviewer within the PF Legal/compliance review process, when needed.
- Partner and oversee third party vendors to ensure deliverables execution
- Advance scientific degree, PharmD, PhD or MD preferred
- 8-10 years of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry experience with a focus on medical communications and education
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate and collaborate
- Proven experience establishing strategic direction and proven ability to achieve set objectives; ability to take educated risk, rise above technical expertise; demonstrating judgement, wisdom and understanding of impact
- In-depth knowledge of Good Publication Practices and guidance (GPP, ICMJE), Sunshine Act, Pharma Code of Conduct, and other guidance related to post-marketing practices and scientific data communication
- Ability to travel
- USA remote, preferably East Coast based
