- Provide consultative support and strategic guidance on HR topics. This includes, but is not limited to, associate relations, performance management, hiring, and ongoing strategic initiatives.
- Plans, develops, and implements policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Support department in its recruiting efforts by collaborating with managers and internal recruiter. Anticipate staffing needs and work proactively to develop a staffing strategy.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Leads succession and talent planning in partnership with client groups.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources; and communicates changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Helps to ensure adherence to department budgets (recruiting, consulting, training, etc.).
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in HR, at the Senior leadership level in a similar capacity
- Experience managing diverse activities in fast paced and growing business
- Ability to build and manage strong, collaborative working relationships and carry high credibility with senior leaders, as well influence at all organizational levels.
- PHR/SHRM or other relevant HR Certification preferred
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing functions strongly preferred
- Prior experience managing direct reports
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior level stakeholders
- Experience leading change management and other related OD projects that contributed to company culture and other key business priorities
- Project management experience, high-level organizational skills and experience working with outside vendors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and ATS systems. Experience with SuccessFactors preferred
