Job Title: Warehouse OperativeLocation: Swindon, SN3Pay Rate: £12.00 p/hr AM Shift, £13.13 p/hr PM ShiftWorking Hours: Fixed shift, not rotationalShift 1: 06:00– 14:00 Monday to FridayShift 2: 14:00– 22:00 Monday to Thursday, 12:00- 20:00 FridayContract: Temporary ongoingGap personnel are proud to be working together with a largest global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for 2 Warehouse Operatives to support busy Manufacturing company.Job Duties:Warehouse operatives are responsible for mass production of a specific product in a manufacturing assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control.Responsibility:Assemble materials and equipment as required.Putting sticky labelsInspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are metAssist in the loading of raw materials to the production linesTransport raw materials from one place to anotherCommunicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are metConduct inspections and quality control of productsAssist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as requiredIdeal Candidate:Sharp attention to detail in favour of identifying defectsSelf-driven and hard workerAble to work efficiently with minimal supervisionFlexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as requiredPhysically able to lift, carry and move up to 20/25kgWillingness to work as part of the team is essential.
