This person will be helping our Localization Manager in the management of translation projects to ensure the highest quality of our product in all supported languages.What you will be doing:
  • Verifying translation/proofreading requests for complete information,
  • Checking the quality of the source EN content and supporting documentation,
  • Preparing translation/review projects in CAT tools,
  • Checking completed translations for Term Base observance or any other types of issues,
  • Acting as a point of contact for translators and reviewers in case of questions/technical issues,
  • Maintaining up-to-date localization project status file and folders,
  • Keeping requesters informed on the project status.
Qualifications
  • Graduates of linguistics or philology,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English,
  • Additional languages a big plus (Chinese, Japanese or Thai in particular),
  • Experience with CAT tools,
  • Experience in translation/localization or linguistic project management,
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel in particular,
  • Self-driven and well organized,
  • Quality oriented, with attention to detail and accuracy,
  • A team player with a positive attitude,
  • Ability to cope with changing priorities of the team and fluctuating volumes,
  • A problem-solver.
