We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our cleint's motivated team on a part-time (50%) basis. In this important role, you will provide professional nursing care to their pediatric (ages 12-18) and adult clients and play a critical role in implementing innovative medical and psychological practices. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medical treatments, monitoring progress, collaborating with medical professionals and ensuring the overall well-being of their pediatric and adult clients during their stay.Responsibilities:- Ensure professional care and provide an age appropriate environment and compassionate approach.
- Perform various medical procedures tailored to pediatric and adult clients, including specimen collection, testing and wound care, while ensuring the comfort and cooperation of young clients.
- Perform pediatric and adult medical evaluations for clients, including assessment of vital signs.
- Administer infusions, injections and medications with special attention to pediatric dosages and safe administration techniques.
- Prepare exam rooms to provide an age-appropriate environment for pediatric and adult client appointments.
- Manage and maintain pediatric medical equipment.
- Monitoring and coordinating medications in collaboration with our physicians and adjusting pediatric dosages or accommodating special needs.
- Provide emotional support and education to pediatric clients and their families to ensure they understand treatment plans and medication regimens.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet pediatric and adult health needs and assist with nursing tasks as needed.Requirements:- Degree in Healthcare and Nursing (HF) (ideally with specialization in KJFF).
- At least 2 years experience in a similar healthcare facility in Switzerland.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English; any additional language would be an advantage.
- Confidence in performing a variety of medical procedures, including drawing blood, administering IVs and monitoring client responses.
- Professional assertiveness, strong teamwork, empathy and effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide client-centered care.
- A strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment and client needs.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must-have requirements: Swiss driver's license Cat.
