This role provides a significant opportunity for growth in both scope and responsibilities within the company.Duties and Responsibilities include: Overseeing installations of various new multi-million-rand machines and technologyOverseeing assigned Engineering and technical projectsEnsuring customer satisfaction concerning all Engineering projectsOverseeing machine and automation design projectsDeveloping and implementing project schedules and forecastsCoordinating and checking engineering deliverablesReporting monthly on project status and change orders.Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating technical and management aspects of projects.Assisting in the preparation of engineering projects and machine acquisition proposals.Assisting in the coordination of pricing, estimating, and scoping strategies for proposed projects and in the development and preparation of technical specificationsAssisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for projects.Implementing successful engineering and automation projects.Communicating extensively with assigned project Clients, external customers, and suppliers, both overseas and local.Involved in new product development and prototyping. RequirementsBSc/BEng: Mechanical or Mechatronics degree.Have at least 2 - 5 year’s working experience in a related role.Project Management Diploma (advantageous).Have at least 2 - 3 years of Project Management experience (advantageous).Competency in 3D – CAD design (Autocad, Inventor, Solidworks).Be familiar with ISO procedures.An ability to communicate effectively at all levels.An ability to negotiate effectively.A strong ability to think logically and rationally.Advanced computer literacy (especially Excel).A strong financial and commercial aptitudeBenefitsMedical Aid ContributionPension Fund ContributionBSc/BEng: Mechanical or Mechatronics degree.
