- Adhere to and help refine safety and housekeeping standards in all operations.
- Conduct practical machining tasks including milling, lathe operation, precision grinding, and fine polishing.
- Utilize various metrology instruments and document findings accurately.
- Read and interpret mold prints, 3D renderings, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Manage and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in tooling equipment.
- Apply injection molding techniques to address cooling, venting, and steel condition issues.
- Execute daily mold setups and repairs, prioritizing tasks based on production schedules.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance as per established protocols.
- Proven experience in plastic injection molding.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a good grasp of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in a machine shop or mold maintenance environment, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with MIG or TIG welding.
- Proficient with PC-based applications.
