Since its establishment in 2003, they have maintained a steadfast commitment to excellence while operating as a privately held company.We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Laravel and JavaScript, and experience working with MongoDB databases. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in hexagonal architecture and experienced with managing code in a monorepo setup. You will be instrumental in developing robust backend systems and APIs that power our innovative products.Responsibilities:- Design and develop scalable, maintainable backend services using Laravel and JavaScript.- Implement and maintain database structures and schemas in MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance.- Adhere to and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.- Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.- Contribute to the adoption of hexagonal architecture to ensure our codebase is modular, scalable, and easy to maintain.- Work within a monorepo environment, managing dependencies and ensuring consistency across different parts of the project.- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, and provide support and solutions to technical issues.- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, and be willing to explore new tools and practices to enhance our products and workflows.Requeriments- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Laravel and JavaScript.- Experience with MongoDB.- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development practices.- Experience managing code in a monorepo setup, with an understanding of associated benefits and challenges.- A continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Conditions:- Contractor.- Full-time- No timezone shifting- Compensation in US Dollars
