Our purpose is to create our best world, a ton at a time; empowering our customers to transform their materials into valuable resources for the betterment of people, planet, and their bottom lines.Job PurposeAs a Quality Manager at CDE, your responsibility is to maintain the highest level of Quality excellence in all areas of CDE, guaranteeing that our products are delivered to our internal and external customers without defects.You will be responsible for ensuring that CDE retains its yearly ISO9001:20215 surveillance accreditation and undergoes recertification every three years through our third-party certification body. This role will ensure that everyone is aware of their Quality performance through daily interactions, weekly meetings, and Governance/Management reviews at all levels within CDE. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills and a readiness to learn new processes to further improve end-to-end Quality in CDE.This role will establish strong connections with our internal departments and customer site installation/commissioning teams, ensuring that any quality issues raised are quickly resolved and communicated back to each causal area for root cause analysis and corrective action activities.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and enforcing a Quality culture, advocating best practices, and effectively communicating across all aspects of CDE.About the roleResponsibilitiesTo effectively manage and control all aspects of CDE's Quality Management System, making sure our ISO9001:20215 accreditations are upheld.Further develop CDE's internal procedures, systems, standards, and specifications.Ensure that cross functional root cause corrective action investigations are effectively completed to ensure all learnings are captured across the business and minimise repeat occurrence of issues.Host regular Quality Governance & Management review meetings. meetings with relevant internal stake holders to maintain end to end ownership of Quality at all levels within CDE.Analyse quality data, track trends, and create reports. Use statistical tools to identify patterns and address any deviations from quality standards.Conduct internal audits across CDE facilities and Customer Sites maintain CDE's reputation of quality.Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency, collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and reduce defects.Ensure that the Post Pre-Delivery Inspection performance is maintained and reducing on a yearly basis.Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the production cycle. This includes In Process Validation of raw materials, monitoring manufacturing & assembly areas and conducting Pre-Delivery Inspection checks.Ensure that IFS non-conformance report process is adhered to across CDE, identifying potential quality issues before they affect project lead times.Ensure that new and existing suppliers have implemented the required processes to meet CDE's quality standards and are regularly audited to ensure continued compliance.Manage a a multidisciplined Quality team to ensure Quality activities are maintained throughout all end-to-end CDE activities.Ensure that Quality activities are done safely for all persons involved.Promote a positive Quality culture across CDE.OtherTo adhere to CDE policy and practice.To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.About the companyCreating Our Best World a Ton at a Time - Global Leaders in Waste Repurposing & Natural Materials Processing SolutionsRequired Criteria
  • Degree or equivalent (HNC/HND) in a relevant field with at least 3 years' experience in Quality leadership role Or At least 8 years' experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience with ISO9001:2015.
  • Demonstratable working knowledge of best in class Quality management systems.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, communicate, organise, and control daily workload.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Attentive to detail, strong data analytics skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter able to work on own initiative.
  • Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations.
Desired Criteria
  • Ability to use Microsoft PowerBI.
  • IFS system knowledge.
  • Weld inspection experience.
  • Paint inspection experience.
  • Experience of completing Quality Tools, e.g. APQP, PPAP, FMEA etc.
  • Previous experience in managing team members.
  • Technical qualification relevant to the role.
  • ISO9001 Auditor/Lead Auditor Certificate.
